Short answer: it depends on what you’re booking with us. Here’s exactly how it works, from the moment you book to your results landing in your doctor’s hands.

1. Your form arrives straight awayThe moment you book, we email your blood form. It lists the exact tests you need, so there’s nothing for you to work out.

2. A three-day windowYour first available consultation is always at least three days out. That’s deliberate: it’s your window to get the blood draw done and your results back.

3. Morning, fasted, water onlyTake the form to your nearest Lancet, Ampath or Pathcare. Testosterone is highest early and drops through the day, so a morning sample tells the true story.

4. Results go to your doctorYour results go straight to the doctor you’re booked with. By the time you’re on the call, the conversation is about what your numbers mean.

Any of the three labs works. We default to Lancet because it’s a relationship we trust, not because it’s the only lab that will do. You pay the lab directly, and blood tests start from R530 at Lancet.

One draw is enough to get started. Had bloods done in the last two to three months, through your GP or anywhere else? Send them through and we’ll use those instead of starting again.

If treatment isn’t right for youYour R900 isn’t wasted

If your results come back clear and treatment isn’t right for you right now, that R900 hasn’t gone anywhere. It paid for a straight answer from an HPCSA-registered doctor, and it carries forward as a free consultation for the next six months.
