A prescription is a possible outcome of the consultation, not something you buy in advance.1
Step 1The free eligibility check
The check tells us whether you may be a candidate for one of our programmes, and which consultation fits. It isn’t a diagnosis. That’s what the doctor is for.2
Step 2Your video consultation
You’ll speak to an HPCSA-registered South African doctor by video about your symptoms, your history and what you want to change.3
- A list of your medicines and supplements, including anything bought online or used for training. Nobody’s judging. It’s what keeps your treatment safe.
- Any recent blood test results.
Your doctor may want blood tests before making a decision. These start from R530 and are paid directly to the laboratory. For testosterone, that’s a single blood draw, done before your consultation.3
Step 3Your plan and delivery
If treatment is right for you, you’ll get a personalised plan.
Your doctor will give you the full cost before you commit, including any follow-up consultations and repeat tests.
Some of our programmes use compounded medicines. These are prepared by a licensed pharmacy individually for you, against your prescription. Your doctor will explain what’s in yours, what it’s for and what the evidence says.
Once your plan is agreed, your medicine comes to you.
We work closely with our compounding pharmacy partners to monitor quality and batch testing, so you know where your medicine came from.
Step 4Ongoing care
Your doctor stays involved for as long as you’re on the programme. You’ll have follow-up consultations, any monitoring your programme needs, and a way to report side effects or changes through your patient portal.
If something isn’t working, tell us. Changing the plan is part of the plan.
